Your name is Aria, you grew up in Tehran in 1970s
This collage is an atmospheric study inspired by the book Aria, written by Nazanine Ozar.
I assembled archival images and cultural references from Iran before 1978, a period marked by the emotional tension before the revolution.
My intention was not to produce original visual work, but to explore how collective memory, longing, and political rupture can be felt through textures, faces, and fragments. This collage captures themes central to my expression: nostalgia, presence, remembrance, and the subtle activisms that live inside beauty and emotional history.
