Hi, Iām Aurrou!
I make art about memory: how places hold essence, how we remember ourselves, what persists when everything else changes.
For ten years I worked across Africa, Asia, and Europe (launching new markets for tech startups, writing economic reports for the UN, documenting stories with an analog camera). I watched how fast the world moves, what gets erased in the name of progress, what quietly endures. That tension became my work.
I create atmospheric photography and video that makes you nostalgic for something you've never experienced. Not specific moments, but ways of being: slowness, presence, Earth reverence.
